Brad Samuels was born and raised in Richmond, BC. He studied finance and marketing at the University of Northern British Columbia — and in his first year, he was recruited by a franchise painting company. That decision changed everything.
Over the next decade, Brad managed crews, painted hundreds of homes, and learned the painting trade from the ground up. But more than the craft, he learned what it really takes to build a business that runs on trust, systems, and genuine care for the customer experience.
That's 17 years of franchising experience — not as an investor or observer, but as an operator. Brad has lived every stage of the journey you're considering: the early hustle, the first hires, the systems that scale, and the freedom that follows when you get it right.
Today, Colour Craft Franchising is Brad's way of giving other driven entrepreneurs the same head start he never had. He works one-on-one with every franchisee through formal weekly coaching sessions — because he believes the single biggest factor in your success isn't the brand or the territory.
